It is officially Halloween week and from the look of most of the neighbors’ decorations, the excitement couldn’t be bigger. It’s going to be quite the night Thursday.

The cocktail featured here is for anyone who wants to make a fall flavored cocktail that is easy to drink and easy to make for a crowd. It is a riff of a cocktail from Tyson Buhler of @deathandcompany. Think of this one as a tiki-island style drink that has a flavor profile that also pays homage to the halloween season.

Black spiced and blackstrap rums are the split base here – these are not your typical rums but in this cocktail, they work really well together and with the other ingredients. The other interesting addition is the tea concentrate – again, easy to make and so tasty too (the original recipe uses cold brew instead of tea).

For anyone local to the Athens, GA, area, these spirits can be found at @5pointsbottleshop. Wisecraft has gladly started to partner with them to highlight different spirits that can used to make great tasting cocktails.
Here is to everyone who is ready for a fun and safe Halloween and who wants a flavor packed cocktail to wash down all the candy. Cheers!
